1. Controller

Beyond Infinity GmbH, Schaafenstraße 25, 50676 Köln, Germany, represented by its Managing Director Jens Piesk. Email: info@aktienwissen.online.

2. Hosting and server log files

The website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH (Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany). When the site is accessed, server log files are processed automatically (including a shortened IP address, date/time, page accessed, referrer, browser/operating system). Purpose: secure and stable operation. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data-processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place with the host.

3. Fonts

Fonts are served locally from our own server. No connection is made to third-party servers (e.g. Google Fonts); no data is transmitted to third parties in this process.

4. Newsletter and research kit (Brevo)

To send the newsletter, confirmation emails and toolkit emails we use the service Brevo. Provider: Brevo GmbH, Köpenicker Str. 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany. Sign-up uses the double opt-in procedure: after registering, your email address is first stored at Brevo with the status “pending” and you receive an email with a confirmation link; only after confirmation are you added to the mailing list. We process your email address, the language identifier, the origin of the sign-up (newsletter or toolkit) and the times of sign-up and confirmation. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future (unsubscribe link in every email); after withdrawal we remove your address from our mailing lists and mark it as unsubscribed, so that no further emails are sent even if lists are imported in future (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Measurement of opens and clicks: by default Brevo records whether and when an email is opened and whether links it contains are clicked (tracking pixel and link rewriting). This processing is likewise based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and ends when you unsubscribe. A data-processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place with the provider. Your data is stored on servers within the EU (France, Germany and Belgium). Brevo does, however, use sub-processors in third countries, in particular for content delivery and web application firewall, for the analysis of technical log data, and for support and maintenance by group companies in the USA, India and Canada. Depending on the recipient, these transfers are safeguarded by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses together with additional measures, or by an adequacy decision. The current list of sub-processors forms part of Brevo's data-processing agreement. Provider's privacy notice: brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy.

5. Analytics (Google Analytics 4)

We use Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google Analytics is loaded only with your consent via the cookie banner; if you decline or make no choice, the service is not executed. If you consent, cookies are set and usage data is processed (including a shortened IP address, pages viewed, time on page, referrer, approximate location, browser and device details) in order to analyse how the website is used. The legal basis for storing and reading information on your device is Section 25(1) TDDDG; the subsequent processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA in this process. The basis for the transfer is the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (European Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/1795), under which Google LLC is certified; the European Commission's standard contractual clauses apply in addition. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by deleting the stored cookie choice in your browser and declining in the banner. Provider's privacy notice: policies.google.com/privacy.

6. Cookies and local storage

Without your consent we only use technically necessary storage: your cookie choice is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) to remember your selection. Only if you accept in the banner are the analytics cookies of Google Analytics 4 additionally set (see section 5). If you decline or make no choice, this does not happen.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). You may withdraw consent you have given at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

8. Contact for data protection matters

For questions about data protection, contact us at info@aktienwissen.online. No separate data protection officer has been appointed.

9. Contact form

If you write to us via the contact form, we process your name (if provided), your email address and your message in order to answer your enquiry. Legal basis: consent or legitimate interest in handling the enquiry (Art. 6(1)(a) or (f) GDPR). The data is sent to us by email and is not used for any other purpose.
